Industrial hygiene
General information

Do you often hear staff complain about the quality of the air or the amount of noise inside the production hall? Have you already had a legionella management plan drawn up for your company or institution?

Pursuant to the Belgian legislation concerning occupational well-being and to a number of more specific Royal Decrees, including the “Chemical agents” Royal Decree of 11 March 2002, the Royal Degrees concerning physical agents, asbestos, legionella, etc. any employer is obliged to assess the hazards he is exposing his employees to.

Such an inventory and assessment of risks and hazards often requires highly specialized expertise. In addition objectification through measurements is required in a number of cases. The correct performance of the measurements and the assessment of the risks involved in a specific working environment can often be very complex, as well as the objectification through measurements. Within this framework, IBEVE has the expertise and equipment required to carry out studies in the wide-ranging field of industrial hygiene.

You can read more about what we have to offer here.

IBEVE carries out measurements for the objectification of the risk assessment for chemical, physical and biological agents. Examples of this include: air sampling, room ventilation and local exhaust ventilation, noise and comfort studies, investigating complaints (sick building syndrome), measurement of non-ionising radiation and electromagnetic fields.
In addition IBEVE has acquired significant expertise in carrying out hygiene measurements in hospital environments.
